• Are you sure this is legal?

  In March 2002, the Providence Police department stopped by. They had read our website and were concerned that we may be violating some of the licensing laws of the city (for example, if we were selling alcohol). They were not there to shut us down, and we were not doing anything illegal. They were very polite, and said that they understood that this was a lifestyle club and that they wanted to avoid disrupting the party. After a quick conversation, the owners decided to let them into the club. They declined, saying that they really didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable. We scheduled an appointment with the two officers for the following Monday morning. On Monday, March 25, 2002, we met with them at the club. They did a walkthrough that lasted about 15 minutes, decided that there were no licensing violations going on, and thanked us for our cooperation. All in all, we were pleased with the experience.
  We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that all activities at the Choice Social Club are 100% legal. This means that NO illegal activities of any kind will be tolerated at the club. Certain illegal activities are grounds for expulsion from the club. Others, such as drug use, will get you held until the police arrive. We have an excellent relationship with the local police and intend to maintain it.

• Where is the club located?

  The Club is located in Providence, Rhode Island. The exact location is revealed only to members in order to protect their privacy. For driving estimates, we do provide an approximate location.

• What is the difference between an adult lifestyle club and a swingers party?

  An adult lifestyles club caters to many different aspects of adult sexuality, where the traditional swingers' parties primarily cater to heterosexual encounters between couples, or couples and single females. As an adult lifestyles club we attract people who identify as heterosexual, bisexual, transgendered, and gay. Our members are interested in swing, voyeurism, exhibitionism, and fetish play (bd/sm, body worship, and just about anything else that's legal!). • When are the parties?

  Currently the Choice Social Club is open on Saturday evenings from 8:30pm to 2am. The club may be closed in the event of a major holiday, or there may be an occasional Friday evening event. Please check our schedule for upcoming events.

• What are your members like?

  Our members are the same nice people that you find are attracted to these lifestyles across the country. They come in all shapes, colors and sizes. For more about our members, check out our community section.

• How can I attend a party?

  Only members and their guests may attend events. If you learned about us through a current member, they may bring you as a guest. Alternately, you may join now as a member.

• I am an ex-member, why do I have to pay the application fee again?

  All applications and renewals are subject to the application fee because you are applying for a new term of membership. As a courtesy to those members who do not let their membership lapse, we waive the application fee.

• Do I have to participate in intimate activities?

  While we always hope that you will be inspired to participate, we would never mandate participation. The layout of the club and the themes/foci of the events mean that you will only be exposed to those activities you wish to encounter and the choice to participate is always yours.

• What are the "Special Ropes" classes?

  On the third Thursday of every month we hold a class dedicated to rope play/bondage (double check the calendar for date changes). This class is provided by one of our friends from NEDS (New England Dungeon Society) and is open both to members and non-members, beginners and experts alike. Non-members can sign up through the fetlife group and must present a valid photo id and sign a privacy agreement upon entry. Members can sign up online, just like any other event. We do encourage you to bring your own rope, though it is not mandatory. We do not gender balance this class, though it may be helpful for instruction to bring a partner. Choice members may be used to a flexible arrival time, but since this is a class, not a party, it is important for everyone to arrive when the class begins at 7pm.

• Is the "special fee" in addition to the door fee?

  Many people have been asking lately about special fees. If a special fee is announced, it is NOT in addition to the door fee, it is the door fee for that particular event. For example, the Special Ropes Class has a special fee of $10/person. Each person only pays $10 for the class.

• Can I bring guests?

  Yes, we would love for members to bring guests. Please see our guest policy for more information.

• My membership expired years ago, how do I come back?

  Renewing your membership is easy and can be done at any time. Simply fill out the online application and indicate that you are a former member (if you still have your old id number, please include it.) While we do hold occasional Open Houses throughout the year, membership renewal is an option at any time.

• Can I try out an event before joining?

  Because we are a private membership club, the short answer is no. Only members and their guests may attend Choice events, unless otherwise noted (ie: Special Ropes Class). The Basic membership for couples is designed to be an "introductory" membership. The sign up cost is low so you can keep your costs down as you decide if this is the right place for you. If you join as a Basic couple and decide you would like to attend more regularly, you can always upgrade to Premium, which also has a monthly payment plan. For Single Men: Currently for single men we are offering a 3-month trial membership period. For $75 a single guy can have a Basic membership with a 3-month term, allowing for at least two Insatiable events to try out the club. After the trial period, if it's a good match, a single guy may be given the option to renew for a one year term.

• What about safe sex?

  In the lifestyle, the expectation is that everyone practices safe sex for the health of the community as a whole. The expectation at the club is the same. To facilitate this, we put supplies within reach in every room. Supplies include: condoms (regular, extra large and flavored); dental dams; vinyl gloves; and lube. If you have a personal favorite product, feel free to bring it with you.
